VEGALA is a Marathi word which is an Indo-European language, having over 70 million native speakers people in Maharashtra India. Marathi, like many other Indo-Aryan languages, evolved from early forms of Prakrit, which itself is a subset of Sanskrit, one of the most ancient languages of the world. Discover the meaning of VEGALA in the context of Marathi from relevant books on Exotic India We would like to tell you that our idea for VEGALA came to us during magical moment while hiking the Appalachian Mountains or Climbing Waterfalls in Sri Lanka – but it didn’t.
The idea came to us because we needed to provide for our family. Being broke can be a great motivator – really!!! We opened in 2015 and while searching for inventory we came face to face with one of the worlds biggest humanitarian issues – child labor. Quickly we became determined to source all of our goods from ethical, fair trade& cruelty free vendors. Hence – “The Vegala Scarf” was born. Our scarfs are made by women who have made it out of excruciating domestic violence situations. Additionally, 10% of all purchases will be donated to stopchildlabor.com
The VEGALA SCARF embodies your choice, to reflect a respect our earth, & more importantly the betterment of others.
